Everyone wants to be seen as someone that can be trusted, to be admired. It is certainly the road less traveled, but worth every step.

Speaking of step, step up.

Look around and see all the non-profit organizations that are struggling because they have an insufficient number of volunteers. Want to leave a legacy? Step up. Help out at a vendor fair, be a participant in the suicide prevention walk this coming Saturday, help out with the Christmas parade – the list of things that you can do is nearly endless.

Bring you children, let them see you in action. Invite your pals, let them enjoy the sense of wellness that comes from doing something for someone else without an expectation of something in return. But wait! There is ‘something in return’.

Satisfaction. A sense of wellbeing, the knowledge that you made a difference.

The Clifton Social Club, the Greenlee Chamber of Commerce, the Greenlee Tourism Association, Nana’s Closet, Greenlee Historical Society, Greenlee County Community Closet ~ and plenty of others all need you.

Your time, your involvement, you to be a volunteer – and bring along your friends, your classmates, your colleagues – family members are always welcome as well – stay tuned or respond to the post on the Greenlee Association Tourism page and see where you want to grow your sense of satisfaction.
