We all want to be remembered for the best things we did –and we are reminded numerous times throughout the Book of Psalms how much it means to the Holy Spirit to be remembered using that expression as we share History.
Right here among us we have numerous examples of men, women and even young people who exemplify the best of human nature. Considerate acts of kindness happen, often anonymously, just to ease the life of someone in distress or need. Kind-hearted people who deliver meals and groceries. Others who provide transportation, while still others just stop in to chat and brighten a morning or afternoon with tall stories and faulty memories.
My purpose in sharing this missive with you today is because the Greenlee Tourism Association (GTA) just transitioned from one Chairperson(Kindle Spears) to a new Chair – Karen Patton Frye! Both demonstrate the best attitudes, the best concern for everyone they impact or affect through their leadership in the GTA.
Since 2012 the GTA has undergone numerous leadership changes, brought in dozens of events and activities, co-sponsored Chamber Mixers, and the list goes on. So please help us welcome Karen as out new Chair, she will be shaking things up and bringing a new round of events, outside speakers and activities for one and all.
