Looking for a fun and meaningful way to kick off summer in Greenlee County? Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 13, 2026, and head to Riverside Park in Clifton, Arizona for two great community events in one day — the San Francisco River Clean Up and the Big Quack Duck Race.
The day begins with the San Francisco River Clean Up, sponsored by the Gila Watershed Partnership. Community members are invited to help keep one of our beautiful local waterways clean while enjoying a morning of service, fresh air, and community spirit.

Event Schedule
- 8:00 AM – Check-in at Riverside Park
- 8:00 AM–11:00 AM – River Clean Up
- 11:00 AM – Lunch provided
- 12:30–1:00 PM – Big Quack Duck Race
During check-in, participants may remain in their vehicles while signing in and receiving directions. Staff will be on hand to provide instructions and a safety briefing.
If you plan to stay for lunch, RSVP is required by emailing info@gwpaz.org.
After the cleanup, the fun continues with the Big Quack Duck Race, hosted by the Greenlee Tourism Association. This cheerful annual event gives everyone a chance to race a duck, win prizes, and support tourism efforts in Greenlee County.

- 15 Ducks – $100
